As an Industrial Artist, Phil utilises locally sourced, industrial parts that have previously come to the end of their life in their current form. Phil focuses on reworking the once unwanted into beautiful and useful home and garden décor. The rich Automative and Aviation heritage locally lends itself to create the most interesting one off designs. The build process is often organic, from a small sketch it then develops depending on sources parts. In Phil’s hand almost anything can be reimagined into beautiful and useful piece. About Phil
Phil has always been fascinated with industrial design and creation. After the frustration his father felt at ‘sharing’ his tools with Phil, his father gave him his own shed and tools which included an old Arc welder. Phil has a passional for design and construction and loves the challenge and problem solving involved in each and every project.
Phil has deigned and creating a huge range of metal work from his 1955 Ford F150 with a modern engine and running gear which includes a one off, hand made chassis to simple signs and trophies. Nothing is too big or small for Phil to get creative with.
What We Do
Phil is extremely creative, getting inspired by a piece in its raw form. It is then an organic process until the transforms into its finished state. Phil has created home and garden décor including lamps, lighting, furniture, trophies, signage. sculptures and garden art.
